Along with first-run independent features, Enzian offers a variety of special events, such as the nationally-recognized Florida Film Festival. Enzian and Eden bar are full service, fast paced, high volume restaurants that are in need of seasoned and professional staff members. BOX OFFICERPart-time

Enzian theater is looking for a part-time box office attendant. This position requires no experience, however the candidate must have flexible availability, dependable transportation, and a great attitude.

 

The Box Officer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ticket sales
  • Guest reservations
  • Customer service
  • Grounds keeping
  • Money handling
  • Report reconciliation

DIRECTOR OF PATRON DEVELOPMENT

Enzian seeks a highly motivated, experienced, decisive, passionate professional with exceptional leadership qualities to serve as Director of Patron Development. The Director of Patron Development will create and execute a multi-year strategic plan for Fundraising and Development, Marketing, and Programming in line with the organization’s mission and vision while cultivating Enzian senior staff. The Director of Patron Development will represent the organization to members of the community and reports to the Managing Director.

 

Has overall responsibility for Enzian’s Development, Membership, Marketing, and Programmatic staff. Responsible for program growth and execution of mission including fundraising, donor cultivation, program development, and communications. Acts as the organization’s spokesperson and represents organization to government agencies, community, and the public. Leads, coaches, develops, and retains Enzian’s Development, Membership, Marketing, and Programming team. Ensures effective systems to track progress and regularly evaluates program components so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents. Actively engages and energizes Enzian members, volunteers, board members, partnering organizations, and funders. Ensures program activities comply with contracts.

 

Leads a professional three-department team to formulate and implement policies and plans to meet the organization’s short-term and long-term objectives as follows:

Development: Leads the organization’s efforts to obtain support to sustain its work, including approaches to individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Responsible for creating and managing an integrated development plan that is mindful of the goal to grow patrons into donors. Oversees the development staff comprised of a Development Manager, Membership Coordinator, and part-time Grant Writer; builds partnerships and establishes relationships with donors and supporters, elected officials, community leaders, corporate partners, and more.

Marketing: Leads the Marketing Manager regarding overall marketing and promotional functions to deliver an appropriate image, develop ties with the community, achieve membership/participation goals, and protect and enhance the Enzian brand. Responsible for creating and managing an integrated institutional and programmatic marketing plan.

Programming: Leads the Programming Director to ensure programmatic excellence. Constantly assesses existing and proposed programs for connection to Enzian’s goals and mission. Identifies underserved audiences and community needs and develops programs to fill those gaps.

 

Works with the Governing Board, Managing Director, and Director of Operations & Finance to set organizational goals, budgets, and strategic plans, and recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve them. Supports the Governing Board and builds board involvement with strategic direction.

 

Success in this position is measured primarily by successful strategic planning and stewarding of the expansion of Enzian’s presence in the local and national community while meeting revenues goals.

 

 

Qualifications:

The Director of Patron Development must embrace Enzian’s mission, vision, and belief that Film is Art. Additionally, candidates must possess and demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably at an established and successful organization that experienced growth over his/her tenure
  • Highly developed strategic thinking and execution skills that allow him/her to successfully lead and manage projects, groups, and individuals to achieve desired results
  • Proven track record of effective decision making and delivery of outcomes/goals
  • Superior relationship-building and interpersonal skills, which enable rapport-building with internal and external stakeholders
  • Substantial experience in managing and evaluating staff, including the ability to coach staff on achievement of goals
  • Ability to inspire confidence and passion both internally and externally, combined with the persistence and zeal to lead a mission-driven organization toward ambitious goals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
  • Familiarity with financial statements and an ability to set and meet budgets
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, with a proven track record of expanding an organization’s donor base through collaborative relationships
  • Experience developing and overseeing an integrated strategic plan including marketing and development goals
  • Strong understanding of current marketing concepts including social media platforms and institutional marketing methods
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, with an independent and entrepreneurial spirit and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptive work style, with the ability to prioritize among competing demands
  • A passion for learning and an interest in being a proactive, positive member of a team
  • High level of self-awareness, humility, and emotional intelligence
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or higher experience required
  • Experience using donor databases to aid in cultivating donor relationships is a plus
