“The only thing more terrifying that the last 10 minutes of this film, are the first 90”
Amid a violent and unequalled tempest, an ambitious American ballet student Suzy Bannion (Jessica Harper, PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE) arrives at Freiburg’s distinguished Dance Academy against the backdrop of another young student’s atrocious murder.
Forced to remain at school after a sudden fainting spell, Suzy gradually begins to suspect that the unremitting attacks on the institute’s unsuspecting members and the seemingly endless string of ominous incidents concur with disquieting and insidious rumors of witchcraft. Is the renowned academy, indeed, a covert nest of vipers?
About the speaker: David T. Meyers is the Film Department Chairman at Full Sail University, where he teaches the History of Motion Picture Arts. He began his film career working with legendary director George Romero on the feature film MONKEY SHINES.
