If there’s one thing that classic silent films are desperately missing, it’s the screeching sound of electric guitars. The brainchild of Josh Frank, an Austin, Texas drive-in theater owner, Silents Synced is a series of cinematic/music mashups that will leave even fans of the legendary Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon phenomenon shocked with delight.
The inaugural film in this series couples F.W. Murnau’s century old masterpiece Nosferatu (1922) with genre-undefinable alt rock band Radiohead’s mind-blowing “Kid A” (2000) and “Amnesiac” (2001) albums.
Created exclusively for independent cinemas, Enzian Theater is thrilled to bring this unique event to our Music Mondays series.
1922/2024, 90 Minutes, Not Rated, Directed by F.W. Murnau, Remixed by Josh Frank
