Catherine O’Hara Tribute

A Mighty Wind

showtimes

Screening as part of The Films of Catherine O'Hara.

Three eclectic, never-quite-famous folk bands come together for the first time in decades for a reunion concert following the death of their manager. For the members of The Folksmen, The New Main Street Singers, and Mitch & Mickey, time has not been kind. As the show approaches, apprehension sets in, romances are rekindled and ambitions are permanently deferred. Starring Guest’s regular crew of seasoned improvisors, including Eugene Levy, Jane Lynch, Harry Shearer, Michael McKean, and Catherine O’Hara.

“This is my art, and it is dangerous!” – Delia Deetz, Beetlejuice

From sketch comedy to scene-stealing film roles, Catherine O'Hara has spent decades crafting some of the most delightfully eccentric characters ever to grace the big and small screen. Emerging from the groundbreaking Canadian series SCTV (where she first met Eugene Levy), O’Hara immortalized her off-center sensibility in unforgettable films like Beetlejuice and Best in Show, as well as the Emmy-winning series Schitt's Creek. From voicing Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas to crossing the country with a polka band to reunite with her son in Home Alone, O’Hara’s singular gift for blending absurdity, vulnerability, and immediate affability creates characters that linger long after the credits roll.
