Casablanca:

It’s December 1941 and American expat nightclub owner Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) is drawn back into a world of danger and lost love when Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman) arrives in his café with her resistance-fighter husband (Paul Henreid). As Nazi pressure closes in, Rick faces a choice between personal happiness and a cause far bigger than himself.

A landmark of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Casablanca won three Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. Its immortal dialogue, legendary performances, and enduring romance have made it one of the most celebrated and quoted films of all time.

Bring a blanket, grab some popcorn, maybe even make a new connection. Because in a world of outdoor movies, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

1942, 102 minutes, USA, Directed by Michael Curtiz, Rated PG

“Play it again.”
– Marjorie Baumgarten, AUSTIN CHRONICLE

“You can make a case for Casablanca being the best of any kind of movie: action, adventure, thriller, espionage or war movie, but it has an undeniably romantic heart.”
– Tony Sokol, THE CHISELER

“Much more fun than its stuffy "Greatest Film Ever Made" tag suggests, with a literate script, stylish direction, a great song and cinema's most romantic couple in Bogie and Bergman.”
– Angie Errigo, EMPIRE MAGAZINE

“The best Hollywood movie of all time.”
– Leonard Maltin
