Israeli superstar Adir Miller (The Matchmaker) delivers a captivating performance in a deeply personal, semi-autobiographical tale, which he also wrote and co-directed. This exceptional comic melodrama follows a religious, gambling-addicted father racing against time in Budapest with his estranged daughter, searching for a family heirloom – a ring his mother traded to a Nazi during the Holocaust to save their lives. Balancing humor with heartbreak, the film explores the secrets, regrets, and love that shape three generations in a poignant story of loss, emotional discovery, and closure.
This screening takes place at Enzian Theater (1300 S Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751).

“Adir Miller’s energy and intensity as an actor manage to keep the story on track, and the audience will be with him every step of the way. Like Tikva Dayan, he demonstrates his ability to mix comedy and drama here.”
