The new film from David Wain and Ken Marino (Wet Hot American Summer, The State, Role Models).

In the charming town of Willowbrook, Kansas, hairdresser Gail Daughtry (Zoey Deutch, Nouvelle Vague, Set It Up) is engaged to her devoted high school sweetheart, Tom.  Her life takes a turn when a trip to a book signing leads to Tom meeting – and sleeping – with his "celebrity pass."  Reeling from the betrayal, Gail impulsively joins her friend Otto on a trip to Los Angeles, where a psychic convinces Gail that the only way to save her marriage is to "even the scales" with her own celebrity pass: Jon Hamm.

Thus begins an epic journey through Tinseltown as Gail and Otto join forces with a talent agency assistant, a paparazzo, and actor John Slattery (Mad Men), all in the search for Hamm. Along the way, they collide with celebrities and are hunted by a group of Italian assassins as they get ever closer to finding the elusive star. Featuring appearances by Joe Lo Truglio (Brookyln Nine-Nine), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Fred Melamed (Shiva Baby), Kerri Kenney-Silver (Reno 911!), Michael Ian Black (Wet Hot American Summer), and Richard Kind (Everybody's Live with John Mulaney).

2026, 93 Minutes, USA, Directed by David Wain, Rated R

“I do not think there will be a funnier film this year than Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass. The laughs are nonstop, and I genuinely cannot remember the last time I laughed this hard in a movie theater.”
– Scott Menzel, We Live Entertainment

"25 years after "Wet Hot American Summer" premiered at Sundance, it's a relief to know that Wain and Marino are still at the absolute top of their game."
– Christian Zilko, IndieWire

“A hilarious Hollywood farce in [Wain and Marino's] signature absurdist voice.”
– Kent M. Wilhelm, The Film Stage

“Gloriously stupid in the best possible way – a big, broad, unapologetically silly comedy powered by an excellent ensemble cast, a game-for-anything [Zoey] Deutch and a scene-stealing [John] Slattery.”
– Peter Gray, The AU Review

“Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass is as unhinged as the name implies, and it’s exactly what we’d want from Wain and Marino.”
– Ross Bonaime, Collider
