The time is 1979. Jimmy Bones (Snoop Dog) is respected and loved as the neighborhood protector. When he is betrayed and brutally murdered by a corrupt cop, Bones’ elegant brownstone becomes his tomb. Twenty-two years later, the neighborhood has been devastated, and his home has turned into a gothic ruin. Four teens renovate it as an after-hours nightclub, unknowingly releasing Jimmy’s tortured spirit. It’s thrills and chills and blood spills when Jimmy’s ghost sets about its frightful revenge, his killers unaware of the gruesome fate that awaits them. With each new victim, the terror mounts, and Bones’ vengeance spins out of control, threatening everyone in his path, including his former lover, Pearl (Pam Grier, Jackie Brown). From director Ernest Dickerson (Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight), and featuring supporting turns from Khalil Kain (Juice), Bianca Lawson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Katherine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps) …get ready for Bones!!!

2001, 96 minutes, USA, Directed by Ernest R. Dickerson, Rated R

    • “Ernest Dickerson's simultaneous tribute to Blaxploitation social horror (J.D.'s Revenge or Sugar Hill) and the work of Mario Bava is a magnificent work of operatic cinemascope splatter.”

      – Jason Shawhan, NASHVILLE SCENE
    • “A fun, over-the-top, campy horror flick starring the perfectly cast Snoop Dogg.”
