Science on Screen®/Peanut Butter Matinee
Celebrate National Pollinator Week with Enzian and Fleet Farming, featuring a fun presentation on how we can celebrate and support our friends, the bees! During this program, all will be able to enjoy Honey Vanilla Ice Cream provided by Jeni’s Ice Cream! Free admission for kids 12 & under.
Barry B. Benson, a bee just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry’s life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey and subsequently decides to sue them.
Fleet Farming is a non-profit urban agriculture program of the organization IDEAS For Us that seeks to empower all generations to grow food. The program transforms the average American lawn into biodiverse, productive micro farms and edible gardens, and integrates educational programming such as after-school garden clubs, green workforce training initiatives, and weekly volunteering events where people of all ages can get their hands dirty working on the micro farms!
This program is in partnership with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream

"What a treat to see a comedy that starts funny, is funny in the middle, and ends funny - unlike the usual Hollywood model in which all the humour is used up in the first act setting up the premise, and then winds down into sentimentality."- Peter Bradshaw, GUARDIAN
"Seinfeld's script is a thing of wonder."- James Christopher, TIMES (UK)
"An often-inspired smart comedy for kids, and a vintage Seinfeld laugh for adults."- Roger Moore, ORLANDO SENTINEL
