Eat your vegetables…before they eat you!

Tomatoes. They’re red. They’re round. They’re…Angry?!?!  Nobody knows why. Nobody asked. Maybe it’s because they’re a fruit that gets mistaken for a vegetable? Doesn’t really matter.  What matters is; nobody should have made a movie about them. But somebody did, and now, the tomatoes are coming for us. Not metaphorically. Not in some “eat your vegetables” kind of way. They are literally coming for us.

What started as a $90,000 micro-budget parody became one of the most shockingly persistent cult franchises in film history. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! spawned four films, an animated TV series, video games, comic books, and a global fan community that refuses to die.

A ragtag team of government agents, soldiers, scientists, reporters, and other people who absolutely should know better must figure out how to save humanity from an army of giant, murderous tomatoes. It’s the kind of movie that makes you wonder who had the idea, who said yes, and why nobody stopped them. It’s far from politically correct. It’s cheap. It’s stupid. It’s also weirdly brilliant. A true midnight-movie masterpiece for anyone who has ever looked at a tomato and thought, “I don’t trust that thing.”

Bring your friends. Bring some (don’t, we have our own) ketchup. Bring literally anything except common sense.

Freaky Fridays ticket prices include a free popcorn and soda or lemonade for all attendees! Alcohol can be purchased at Eden Bar. Regular food service will not be available for Freaky Friday events. So, come early, and fuel up outside for the night ahead!

“A spoof of ’50s monster flicks with a small side order of ’70s-esque eco-terror. Here’s where I would start the next sentence with ‘The plot involves…’, except there really is no plot.”
– Michael Gingold, RUE MORGUE MAGAZINE

“…it's just tomatoes, killing people and oddly enough, I'm okay with that.”
– John Edward Betancourt, NERDS THAT GEEK

“The Worst Vegetable Movie Ever Made!”
– Sam Dean, Bon Appétit MAGAZINE

“I'm going to stop trusting your taste in movies if you keep bringing up Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! - My Co-worker, Jace”
