Kidfest

2012 KidFest Young Filmmakers’
Two-Week Summer Camp
July 23 – August 5
Graduation Ceremony & World Premiere
on Sunday, August 5 at 11 AM
Create your own movie at Young Filmmakers’ Summer Camp! Experience the art of filmmaking as you study cinematic techniques, learn about the exciting history of filmmaking, and dive into the production of an independent film. After wrapping the shoot, see your work projected on the big screen with your fellow filmmakers, family, and friends.
In addition to learning aspects of making a film (script writing, character development, shooting, editing, and more), students will learn a brief summary of film history and why film is still an important form of expression today.
This two-week summer camp, held July 23 – 27 and July 30 – August 3 with a graduation ceremony held on August 5, is located at Enzian Theater and open to children entering grades 5-8. No previous experience with filmmaking or equipment is required.
