SOUTHEAST PREMIERE OF PAPER MAN AND YOUNG HOLLYWOOD TO OPEN FLORIDA FILM FESTIVAL
Emma Stone, Kieran Culkin, and Kieran and Michele Mulroney
Headline Opening Night Film and Party
Orlando, FL – (Mar. 11, 2010) – ENZIAN announced today that the opening night film for the 19th annual Florida Film Festival will be the Southeast premiere of Paper Man, directed by Kieran and Michele Mulroney and starring Jeff Daniels, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Lisa Kudrow, and Kieran Culkin. The Festival, sponsored by Full Sail University, will take place April 9 through 18, 2010.
Paper Man star Emma Stone, co-star Kieran Culkin, and co-directors Kieran and Michele Mulroney will be among the celebrity attendees at the 2010 Opening Night Film and Party, taking place April 9 at 6:30 p.m. Emma Stone, who starred in Zombieland and appeared in Judd Apatow’s Superbad, recently graced the March cover of Vanity Fair and was dubbed one of the “new faces of Hollywood.” Kieran Culkin, who starred in Lymelife (FFF 2009), received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Igby Goes Down. Paper Man marks the directorial debut for married filmmakers Kieran and Michele Mulroney, who are currently slated to write the screenplay for the untitled Sherlock Holmes sequel.
Tickets to attend the Opening Night Film and Party are available to the public for purchase and start at $30 for Film Only passes, $80 for Party Only Passes, and $100 for Film and Party Passes. Visit FloridaFilmFestival.com to order.
“We’re thrilled to kick off this year’s event with the fresh and talented filmmakers and the cast of this truly indie dramatic-comedy,” said Florida Film Festival President, Henry Maldonado. “This will be an unforgettable evening, as we’ll also host masters in the culinary world with visiting celebrity food icons the Lee Bros. and more.”
A coming-of-middle-age story that’s drawn comparisons to Lost in Translation and Away We Go, Paper Man tells the story of an unlikely and quirky friendship between a struggling writer and a Long Island teenager whose companionship shows him that no matter how much it hurts, it’s never too late to grow up.
The complete 2010 film program is now available online at www.FloridaFilmFestival.com.
